Matched Pair General Electric GE 6P5 6P5G Vacuum Tubes Valves Black Plates Foil Getters Shoulder ST Shape October 30 2022This beautiful, nostalgic looking matched pair of GE 6P5G triodes was tested on our Paul Hart calibrated TV7 U for shorts, gas and transconductance. There were no shorts or gas. Tube One measured 32 while Tube Two measured 36 where minimum (65%) is 36. I have played them in my Radio Craftsman RC2 monoblocks and they sound outstanding even though they test on the cusp. They are dead quiet when the CD player is paused and have excellent frequency

Both tubes have 2-48 SC 471 date/contract codes and are World War Two vintage

These tubes have O getters

Transconductance measured 32 for Tube One and 33 for Tube Two where minimum (65%) is 25
