Poul Henningsen, pair of foldable theatre chairs for the Betty Nansen Theatre, 1957Rare pair of foldable theatre chairs designed by Poul Henningsen in 1957 for the renovation of the Betty Nansen Theatre (earlier The Young Theatre) in Copenhagen and made by Andreas Christensen. The chairs were featured in the renowned Danish design magazine Mobilia (no 322) in 1984. The last pictures are taken from that article. Base and frame made of metal with brass stems at the back. Rubber cover at the armrests. Blue fabric upholstery to the back
