English Oak Wall Clock stylishEnglish Oak Wall Clock with lightly spalted sap wood, this piece of oak was saved from a fallen tree from my local forest. it has been finished with two coats of lemon oil and two coats of clear wax. this clock can be hung in any orientation by carefully unscrewing nut on front and turning around the hanging hook on back 200mm (8) wide 280mm (11) tall

It also has some light spalting

So here we are

This Clock is made from English oak which  I saved from my local forest after a storm had felled it

Slowly air drying oak retains a lot more of its colour than kiln drying does

35cm/14” high

10” tall (250mm)

then mixing a small amount of red russet resin to fill in the clock face

the clock face has been routered out and filled with black epoxy resin

The only reason I’m smiling in the photos is because I got lied to and was told I had been sold
