Green Gold FieldThis is an enlargement of a small study of a field in late summer. I like the giant brushstrokes making out simple shapes. Archival prints are available in a range of papers, surfaces and sizes, standard size being 12 x 18. These are giclee prints of both photographs and watercolors, including still life, landscape, dance, figure and abstraction. Surfaces include paper, metallic paper, metal, glass, ceramic, and more.

so I went out and bought these gorgeous sunflowers

The sugar plantations of St John

and feel that it captures the joyous abundance of flowers and friendship that evening

I came upon this pond at dusk

The print was from an original watercolor I painted from a photograph I took of an Isadora Duncan style dance

then placed the watercolor behind the actual lilies and photographed them together

Brush painting was my first encounter with watercolor and my favorite subject in my Art History studies

I felt a kinship with the house and made several versions of this painting

but just attuned to the plant shapes as they twisted and turned in their decaying form

not the measurements of the person
