A hex (not a curse) has been added to prevent strain on the plastic heater core when tightening hose end to adapter. No modification is necessary to install. Adapters include new O rings. Sold as a pair. *MUST REUSE SPRING CLIP FROM OE CONNECTION* Note: These adapters are designed to fit the 22MM style quick disconnect and will fit
