"St. Jerome and the Genii" by Gracia M. Melanson, Amer., (1932-2004) Mezzotint and the first print inPen & ink, 1967, 13 x 10, signed "Gracia" in ink lower left, on thick textured warm white watercolor paper. Melanson was a well known Providence painter and printmaker who often worked from imagination. She was Professor Emeritus at R. I. S. D. and the first woman there to be granted a masters in painting. This is a fine drawing by the artist.
