1-1/4" Compression Point Compression PointsThe compression point is the first part to go through the ground and is attached to the shaft. It breaks rocks, splits roots and other debris as it makes its way under the pavement and opens a hole larger than the shafts. The actual diameter of this part is 2" in. It will make a hole large enough to accommodate a 1 1 4" pipe with a coupling.

Insert an allan wrench into one hole untill it seats in the allan screw on the opposite side of the hole in the point

which is the first shaft to go into the ground with the compression point

Inside it has super heavy duty 4 pound foam with custom cut outs to protect and organize all of your Bullet Mole components

Next this pipe/point assembly is shoved into the same opening created earlier by the Bullet Mole

Secure the hook of the digging bar to the extraction chain

The angle of penetration can also be adjusted pitch downward from 4° to 15°

Stab the digging bar into one of the pre-drilled 2” holes of the 2x6x8 board on the bottom of the trench

It is actually 3" in diameter and will make a hole large enough to accommodate a 2" Sch 40 pipe with a coupling

Drill a 3/8" hole through the sidewall of the pipe at the end of the line transfered to the copper pipe

As the shafts are extracted the tape or line is pulled into the hole which can then be attached to the microduct and installed
