Opens with an expressive bouquet of dark cherries, plums and blackberries, layered with cedar, dried herbs, subtle violet and forest floor notes. A fine underpinning of earth and minerality adds complexity. Medium to full bodied with firm yet refined tannins. The fruit core is rich and dark (black cherry, ripe plum) balanced by crisp acidity and a chalky or stony mineral seam.
