Just presence held in water

This work stands in the moment when all resistance breaks and clarity forms under pressure

painting what I thought I should

where seeing arrives complete but the body has not followed

I painted two figures walking through land that looked different at every angle

But I had not moved

Everything flows through without resistance

The idea of who you are satisfies you completely whilst the floating sensation creates total liberation from mental constraint

Paradox: The brakes are off and the forest holds you

the first private doubt surfaces
