The item is ended off with a soft blue trim

A matching black Bakelite handle is attached with an art deco appearance

The bowl is not marked or stamped but has a personalised engraving at the bottom

all manufactured by John Turton between 1876 and 1898

The strainer is fitted with a scroll handle and three ball feet and has been decorated with repousse scroll patterning along the rim
