The lampshades are a lovely vivid yellow coloured card, decorated with hand painted daisy type flowers in pink and blue. They are purely decorative as they don't have the modern day fixings to sit on a lamp. They actually have a small chain hanging from a metal bar on each one which I have left intact, but I've just sat each one on top of a candle purely for decorative
