Vintage 1930’s Alfred Meakin Astoria Design Dessert Bowl – Cascadia Pattern Tableware Marked underneath 18/8 Pointerware 155The Cascadia pattern was released by Alfred Meakin, Tunstall during the 1930s and displays a lovely bright multi coloured floral pattern with an embossed detail on a 18ct gold trimmed scalloped rim. The design of the bowls are classically known as Astoria. Although this pattern (not the design) was discontinued by Alfred Meakin during the 1940s it was one of the patterns which became part of the Churchill Group in 1976. Alfred Meakin operated from
