WasifTHIS RUG'S STORY: I love this vintage Beni for its gorgeous creamy wool, timeless design, and those little tribal motifs woven in at random. It's a twist on the classic design, with some personal touches added in. Beni Ourain rugs are known for their dense pile and thicker knot construction. This rug was woven in the Middle Atlas mountain region in Morocco, where temperatures can change drastically. These pieces are significant to Berber culture as

but has been worn down and distressed with decades of use

The lines form a diamond pattern and also you can see some tribal motifs at the very bottom
