Biscuit Barrel With Rattan Swing Handle TablewareManufactured by James Sadler & Sons Ltd., Sadler Pottery, Burslem Staffordshire, this item is a ceramic cream coloured biscuit barrel decorated in charming floral and leaf gold lustre patterns along the sides and on the lid. The biscuit barrel is designed with mildly fluted sides and fitted with a rattan swing handle. The lid is topped with a gold bun finial handle and copied on the sides of the barrel to hold the rattan handle. James Sadler & Sons
The pattern depicts a lovely golden/orange rose together with blue flowers and grey background leaves with darker green leaves in the fore
The tea ball / infuser come complete with its original stand as well as a small drip tray which fits into the stand and can be easily removed for cleaning purposes
The items are stamped underneath Bone China Colclough Made in England A Product of Ridgway Potteries Ltd
which became known as the Bluebell pattern
