50s 60Ss BLANES COLOURFUL PASTEL PLAID CHECK COTTON DAY DRESS - S 1930sLovely cotton day dress by Blanes in a beautiful pastel check cotton in shades of peach orange, red, lime green, brown, grey, coral and orange with white striped lines running thorugh. Bodice has a v neck, using the white stripe of the fabric to finish the neckline and softly biased bodice with a centre seam where pattern meets up. Fitted waist and full skirt sewn in neat and perfectly pattern matched box pleats. Midi length. Side metal zip to fasten.

Looks like this may have had a gauze cotton underskirt which has been removed

Length is slightly longer than a ladies shirt and hip fits quite slim

Some missing sequins at the back on one of the straps

A couple tiny pin holes to the lining

-One small darned fray to the back shoulder
