The gold record in this award is Chuck Berry Motorvatin', a greatest hits released in 1977 on Chess Records. Berry famously started out on Chess Records, left for another label in the early 60s, and then returned to Chess for a time in the 70s. Berry (1926 2018) is of course a legendary figure in rock who influenced everyone from Elvis to the
