If you plan to service RockShox Vivid Air shocks frequently, consider the official RockShox pin spanner wrench, its steel, CNC made, and holds up much better to repeated torque cycles

Improper clamping technique or over-torquing can damage the damper shaft

Reinstall damper using a 32mm chamferless socket

Clean the shaft thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol (more than once)

⚠️ Torque warning The rebound adjuster uses a very low torque: 6

Technical Details & Compatibility This clamp is designed to securely hold 13 mm damper shafts in a bench vise for disassembly and reassembly work

Wrap shafts with dry paper towel when clamping to increase friction

What this kit enables 50h / 200h service at home: oil refresh

Allow oil to overflow back into the inner tube
