Early 20th Century Indian Brass Chapati Box indigoThis stunning box originated in India within the early 20th century. It is handmade from brass and has beautifully intricate hand carvings along the lid. The carvings are similar patterns to that of an Indian style. It has a small handle on the top and a latch on the front. Originally, it would have been used to store chapatis, nowadays however, it would make a perfect jewellery or trinket box.
