Anti-Icing Indicator, Lewis Engineering, USAF Fairchild C-119 Boxcar F6F Hellcat which would have the groundHere is an Anti Icing Indicator as used on the early 1950's US Air Force C 119 Fairchild Flying Boxcar transport. The instrument monitored the wing temperature to allow adjustment in flight as necessary. See photo of the location of this instrument on the right side of the co pilots panel (photo taken in C 119 cockpit at Palm Springs Air Museum). The case is clearly experienced but the face of the instrument is in very nice condition.
