2022 Massetino, Masseto, Tuscany, ItalyMassetos wines can be austere in youth: the Massetino allows a friendlier, more approachable version, that can be enjoyed immediately. The wine is produced from 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, allowing the formers softer, fleshier fruit flavors to shine through. Theres plenty of black fruit, spice and toasty notes on the palate, but a lot of freshness to keep things light too.
