Cross Cut English Walnut/Osage Orange Mallard Duck CallThis is a all wood Mallard duck call. Hand cut tone board from my personal J frame jig. The barrel of this call is made from Cross Cut English Walnut wood with a Osage Orange tone board and exhaust. Brushed SST band on the barrel of the call. Call has good volume and nice low end rasp. Can be used for timber call or open water and will carry well. Easy to blow 10mm thickness single reed. Call bag included. (EW#2)

The barrel of this call is made from Ferrari Red and the exhaust and tone board are made of White acrylic

Excess moisture can change the internal dimensions of the call through use

Heavy dense wood strikers will lower pitch and lighter softer wood will have higher pitch and clearer sounds

South American Osage has wonderful properties that make it an excellent choice for turkey trumpets

just move the o-ring on the reed board to change the pitch

This call is in a Paudak pot and has an open back feature so you can use the glass sound board to make nice purrs

I have called in Whitetail Doe's in the early part of bow season with this and using the distress mode of calling
