Al-durar al-nafa'is fi sha'n al-kana'is الدرر النفائس في شأن الكنائس Tetouan Political thought in the IslamicThis is a classic text of Maliki jurisprudence about the status of non Muslims in an Islamic society. The author, Al Qarafi (d. 1601) from Egypt, relied on important Maliki authors to define the status of churches and synagogues in the land of Islam.
