First it stayed in refill casks, then a second maturation in heavily charred casks and a final marrying period in old European oak puncheons. Cask Information: Matured in refill American Oak Hogsheads and finished in virgin American Oak casks

It has matured over 30 years in Bruichladdichs warehouses in the same wood it was originally filled into – refill bourbon and

untiring commitment to the mastery of wood and spirit

This expression was personally selected by the distillery team and is a vatting of double matured Lagavulin in specially-charred American oak casks and first fill bourbon hogsheads
