Dawson's Map of the Dominion of Canada ChelseaThis map of the Dominion of Canada was made by John Bartholomew & Son for Dawson Brothers. It features insets of the environs of Montreal, Newfoundland, Manitoba and an extension of the map to the Pacific (British Colombia and Manitoba). A first edition was published in 1870, followed by a second in 1872. Condition & Materials Lithographed folding map, printed area measures 58. 5 x 84. 5 cm, dissected into 32 panels and laid on linen, minor wear.
