Description

"Nyssa" Original 9x12 Ink sketch by Kipsworld Art"Nyssa" Nyssa al Ghul aka Nyssa Raatko played by Katrina Law on Arrow. I had the privilege of meeting Ms Law at Smallville Comic Con and later at Stealthcon. I did this sketch of her from my phone while at Stealthcon where I was a guest that year.

The title was done with Copics and the stamps were done with acrylics

this piece is occasionally on display at The Arizona Mead Company in Chandler

It took me a while to decide what to paint on it

Originally destined to be a commission

It's always a favorite at shows

We had a few adventures were the group was rescued by an NPC Red Riding Hood when we got in over our heads in the adventure

Then the landscape and finally foreground subject was completed with tradition brush methods

for I was given none

green background was sponged after the subject was painted

we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air
