Cream Cushion - Moderne Size:Large resulting in a richly tactileWere particularly fond of a distinctive porcelain movement that flourished in Vallauris, southeastern France, during the 60s and 70s. This playful, modern aesthetic can be seen in the ceramics of Jean Derval, which at the time evoked [in the French] an insatiable appetite for abstract, folksy forms. Translating an aesthetic into a new medium is always a thrill, and here we use needlepoint to create our own interpretation of Dervals abstract forms.
